Species and Conservation Planning Hays County Habitat Conservation Plan
Loomis Austin, Inc. is working with Hays County and the law firm of Smith|Robertson to prepare a Habitat Conservation Plan and Endangered Species Act Section 10a permit application for submittal to the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service. Primary species of interest under the plan the federally listed black-capped vireo (Vireo atricapillus) and golden-cheeked warbler (Dendroica chrysoparia) and other native species that depend on their habitats, and the plan will benefit certain aquatic species.
