Section 10(a) Permitting Assistance to Grason Communities, Ltd.

LAI provides Section 10(a) permitting assistance for the former D.C. Reed Estate property, a
large tract of land near Lake Travis, just west of Austin, Texas.  LAI staff prepared the Habitat Conservation Plan and Environmental Assessment for the Reed Estate in 1996, and currently assists Grason Communities, Ltd. in maintaining the permit  In any given year, typical assistance includes consultation with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, golden-cheeked warbler surveys, annual reporting, and related tasks.
