Projects: Marina Design and Permitting

The Waters at Horseshoe Bay Marinas, Horseshoe Bay, Texas

Loomis Austin prepared and processed three separate marina applications through the Lower Colorado River Authority; one 13-slip courtesy dock, one 9-slip courtesy dock, and one 139-slip marina.  The later entailed a variance request.  LAI directed the activities of specialty subcontractors including electrical systems design and marina structure/anchoring.  Permits were granted for the
two sets of courtesy docks.  A negotiated solution was achieved that permitted the construction of
a 103-slip marina in lieu of the variance.
